Playing with Blocks

Wonky Oh Susannah

Like most blocks Oh Susannah is constructed on a regular grid.

What if I change the grid so that it is part of the Fibonacci sequence 1, 1, 2, 3, 5, 8, 13, 21...?

I get a wonky Oh Susannah block.

What if I try coloring the wonky Oh Susannah block different ways?

What if I take 4 of the last block I colored and try arranging them in different ways?

What if I take the last arrangement and reflect it both vertically and horizontally?

I like this but I would like to try it with a greater variety of color.

What if I add some greens and yellows?

I think this will make a very pleasant quilt top.
