What If You Designed

Rectangular Blocks?




















It may not be apparent that this quilt was designed using rectangular blocks, but it was.

I started with this 3 x 4 grid. Then I began to play. I wanted to see what sort of blocks I could come up with, and what kind of designs they would make. A few of them are below.







Obviously a lot more 3x4 blocks than these are possible. I'm sure if you were to start playing you could find better ones.
