Four Patch Block #2

Cranbrook

This quilt design is the result of simply repeating a four patch block that I designed. I call the block Cranbrook.

The Cranbrook block is a four patch block because it is designed on a 4x4 grid.

If you can sew these four squares, then you can sew the Cranbrook block.

What if the Cranbrook block is colored very differently?

And what if some triangles are added in the border to finish off the design?

The result is a whole different quilt.









I am always amazed how much changing colors can affect a block or a quilt.
