Half & Half Block #3

Hague

I named this block for Hague Saskatchewan. It is made using 2 each of two different units; so I call it a half and half block.

I 'm going to explore different combinations of color and setting for this block.

What if I simply repeat the block?
What if I create a larger block by repeating 4 of the Hague block and then mirror-image that larger block?

What if I switch the background and foreground by changing my color placement?

What if I combine 2 Hague blocks with 2 mirror-imaged Hague blocks to create a larger block and then mirror-image that block?

What if I create a larger block by rotating 4 of the Hague block and then repeat the larger block?

Like every block, Hague has the potential to be used many different ways making many different quilts.

  1. The first setting with the aqua, blue, purple, and pink is just gorgeous!
