This quilt design is made using a half & half block that I've named after Pipers Lake Saskatchewan.
A half & half block is sewn using two each of two different units.

Half & half blocks, such as Pipers Lake, are by nature asymmetrical and that makes them very adaptable and fun to play with. You don't have to take my word for it; you can try it yourself.
