Place Mat

Because place mats are small they are quick to make. This means even blocks that require a few extra pieces aren't that much of a chore.

This 6"x6" block uses 6 half-square triangles.




All those triangles allow a great variety of color choices.

The thing I find most interesting about this set of place mats is that it's not the half-square triangle that are the dominant design feature. It's the plain bars.
