Ontario series #6

Bolton


























My Ontario Series uses blocks that are made using paper piecing. This is because the blocks employ non-standard triangles.

However, that doesn't make them difficult to sew. Using the freezer paper piecing method they are actually very easy to sew.



The Bolton block has four triangles and looks like this.







When I play with fabric color and with various settings these are some of the quilt designs that suddenly show up to delight me:














You might want to try playing with this block to see what shows up. I'd love to see what you find.
