How easy is it to design a quilt? It can be as easy as picking 2 simple blocks and playing with them until a design you like appears.

Let me show you.

Two days ago, or, if you prefer, the day before yesterday, I picked a Nine Patch block and a Friendships Star block to play with. Today I'm starting with a Shoo Fly block and a Friendship Star block.

Here are some possible arrangements that use these 2 blocks.

You may want to try playing with different arrangements, or different colors. It's easy to do.
