Oh Susannah
I am going to see what I can do with with this Oh Susannah block.
What if I place 4 Oh Susannah blocks with their corners touching and fill the empty spaces with a simple pattern?

What if I use colors from my block to fill in the pattern and make a quilt motif?
What if I repeat the motif as part of a quilt?
This motif gives the impression of being slightly tilted. The result is a visual tension that keeps it from being static.
There is lots of room here to do some interesting quilting.
