Playing with Blocks

Oh Susannah

What if I start with the simplest of Oh Susannah blocks but use both it and its mirror image?

What if I use 2 of each block and create a new and larger block?











What if I use 4 of this new block and create a motif for a quilt?

This has potential but it needs something to liven it up.









What if I add more color to the original blocks?

This gives me an interesting and dynamic motif that I like.
