Electric Avenue

In order to create letters, quilters use fabric and thread.  What if I create an alphabet that emphasizes this fact?

For the letter "L" I am going to start with 2 differently colored strips of fabric.

At this point this could be anything.

What if I use stitching to create the identity of this letter?

When I use the letter "L" in a word I think it becomes clear how this alphabet works.
