This quilt top design is from my 27 December 2009 post.

I think it's time I decided how to quilt it.

What if I outline parts of the design using a silver thread?

I'll stitch 1/4" inside the ditch.

Whoops. I got carried away. This is too much outlining. The quilt top is starting to look too busy.

I think that this is about right.

Now I need to fill in the large areas.

What if I fill feature areas with a leaf -based design?

What if I use a filler design, such as stippling, to complete the quilting?

I am happy with this.
