Part 2
Earlier today I was looking for the best way to piece a tessellated block. I found 2 solutions; one that used 28 pieces and one that used 24. I thought I did a good job, but as it turns out I wasn't even close.
Anonymous posted a comment and asked what I thought of doing something like this.
What do I think? I think this is a much better solution. It uses only 16 pieces. I wish I'd thought of it.
