What if I use the outline pattern, but lose some of the symmetry by varying the colors on the sides of the block?
To start, I'll try this variation.
What if I take 4 of the variation, rotate them and then join them to make a new block?
I get a red pinwheel in the center.
What if I take 4 of this new block and join them together?
I get blue and magenta pinwheels to go with the red ones.
I like this; it is an interesting quilt motif.
