Applique

Tear Drop


I used this simple tear drop shape to create several quilting designs on 19 June 2010.


My wife, Linda, pointed out that a tear drop shape is available as one of the dies for the Accuquilt Go fabric cutter that we bought from our friend Nulagh. It is used for making applique feathers.


This inspired me to see what other applique designs I can come up with for this tear drop shape.












































































































































The possibilities are endless.

    Oh my! This is the die I want the most- but had not even considered something like these...I was thinking of vine like borders (you know, very in the box!)- this is fantastic, Sandy
