Common Merganser

This my attempt to piece a Common Merganser.

Not bad for a first attempt but the beak is too fat.

What if I make the beak narrower?

The forehead is better now as well. The white patch on the beak needs to be flattened and the eye needs to move forward.

This is much improved. I need to get rid of the seam lines to be sure that it's what I want.

Okay, I'm sure. This is what I want.

The bands of blue help give this some depth.
