Quilting
Using only this simple tear drop shape, and by repeatedly asking what if..?, what if...?, what if...?, I want to see what sort of quilting patterns I can create.
The possibilities are endless.

ReplyDeleteNot only does this shape have endless possibilities for use in quilting patterns, but it can also be cut out of fabric and appliqued in endless combinations.
Hi Wayne - I really enjoy your "what ifs." Lots of great ideas!

ReplyDeleteI am glad you're enjoying what I do.
My not so subtle plan is to keep asking "what if" so often that the quilters who read my blog won't be able to help themselves and they'll start asking "what if" too.
Wayne,
ReplyDeleteLove the about flower halfway down ....... and love seeing all the alternatives. If you hadn't keep asking 'What if' we wouldn't have seen that one!
I also like watching you work through a series of What iffing' because I sometimes get something I like, then stop ..... and go prune the roses or something ...... even though I know that I could find something even better sometimes.

ReplyDeleteI can't count the number of times I've been working on a design that felt like it was going nowhere, but then I asked one more "what if" and suddenly my ugly duckling turned into a beautiful swan.
