From My Pieced Alphabet:

Lake Bonavista

Usually lettering is straight up and down. But there are times when slanted lettering works best. So I designed Lake Bonavista.

Slanted lettering draws attention to itself because it is the exception rather than the norm. Think of italics for example.

Normally I don't paper piece. I prefer straight piecing because I find it is less work and more accurate. But not in this case. With these slanted letters paper piecing is the way to go.
Start at the center of the Q and work out, and this letter turns out to be very do-able.
