Quilting

I developed this stitched pattern on 23 May 2010. I want to play with it some more.

What if I arrange 4 of the pattern in a square?

This has a lot of empty space that needs filling. I need to find something to fill it with.

What if I take a "leaf" from the original pattern, then reflect it and join it to itself?

What if I arrange 4 of these twin leaves around a circle?

This looks like a flower to me.

What if I fill the open spaces in the pattern with the flowers I just created?

I get a diamond shaped pattern that I am pleased with.
