I used these 2 Broken Dishes blocks to create this quilt motif. Now I want to add to it.
What if I repeat the corners in the corners?
What if I repeat the sides along the sides? I'll repeat them mirror imaged.
This is terrific. The original motif has disappeared; it has been swallowed up by a new one which is more intricate and more interesting.

This is like watching a baby grow into a child into a teenager .... and love this stage of the quilt.

ReplyDeleteKeep watching and I'll see if I can't get this one safely past its teen years.
I have a theory about teenagers. Babies need to be taken care of so they are by nature cute; they can't help it. Teenagers need to leave the nest so they are by nature obnoxious; they can't help it either.
