Nine Patch & Drunkard's Path

These 2 motifs are made using only Nine Patch blocks and Drunkard's Path blocks.

What if I combine them?

I get a design unit that looks somewhat like a puzzle piece.

What if I combine 4 puzzle pieces?

I like this design as it is. I don't think there's a lot I have to do to finish it.

 What if I add dark green binding?

This feels better.

What if I change the green binding to an accent border, add a white accent border, and then add a black binding strip?

This feels complete. I've designed another small square table topper.
