Nine Patch & Drunkard's Path

This quilt top (8 December 2010) needs quilting.

What if I try leaves in the Drunkard's Path pinwheels?

The dark thread doesn't work and the design isn't suitable.

What if I try light thread and a geometric design?

This works.

What if I do the same in the medium green areas?

This doesn't work. It needs more definition.

What if I change to a darker thread in the medium green areas?

This works.

The pale green squares need to recede, so I'll use a pale thread there. I can stipple with white in the white areas.
