Hexagonal Block Quilt

I was working with this hexagonal blocks quilt from my 11 November 2010 post when I accidentally hit "invert color."

The result was this. I like the 3D effect very much.

What if I replace  the new blue borders with the old brown ones?

What if I replace the blue in the center of the rings with the appropriate green or purple?

What if I try black in the center of the rings?

What if I try greys?

I like this version better than the original. I should hit "invert color" more often!
